The New Hampshire Youth Dance Festival is a platform designed to provide local dance studios, schools, secondary educational institutions, youth ensembles, and performing arts programs with a non-competitive, artistic performance opportunity for young dancers. The Festival provides the opportunity to receive valuable adjudication, share and build audiences, and for young artists to experience the art of dance in a whole new environment. The NHYDF is dedicated to creating a concert dance experience for New Hampshire’s youth, while making it accessible to everyone.
Founded as a collaborative program between Kearsarge Conservatory of the Performing Arts, The Stockbridge Theatre and Perceptions Dance, this event is designed to connect New Hampshire’s vibrant dance community, and provide an alternative platform to competitive programming. Each organization truly believes in the power of dance, and has a strong desire to help build a thriving artistic community in NH starting with our youngest members.
